Medical Qualifications

Mr Jonathan R. Johnson was awarded Membership and Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians in 1971; he went on to qualify with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from London University later that year. Mr Johnson became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1975.

Medical Experience

Mr Johnson was awarded a UK/European Travelling Fellowship from the British Orthopaedic Association in 1983. He is an Ex-President and founding member of the British Association of Spinal Surgeons as well as a founding member of The Spine Society of Europe (EuroSpine). He is currently a member of the International Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine, the British Orthopaedic Assocation, the Royal Society of Medicine and the Society for Back Pain Research.

Mr Johnson is an Honorary General Lecturer at Imperial College School of Medicine and treats at Imperical College Healthcare NHS Trust. He is available for private appointments at The Princess Grace Hospital, London.

Mr Johnson specalises in spinal (neck, thoracic and lumbar) spondylolisthesis, low back pain, scatica and neck pain.
