Medical Qualifications

Mr Christos Tolias qualified with a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Warwick and went on to undertake specialist training in neurosurgery at hospitals in Liverpool and Birmingham. He completed a Clinical Fellowship in Richmond, Virginia, USA and has been awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, England (Surgical Neurology).

Medical Experience

Mr Tolias was the first UK-based surgeon to perform the non-occlusive cerebral vascular bypass technique. He has been a Consultant Neurosurgeon at King’s College Hospital since 2005 and sees private patients at the London Neurosurgery Partnership. His specialist interests include degenerative spine disease, nerve disorders, neurovascular complaints and the surgical treatment of stroke.
