Medical Qualifications

Mr Christopher Chandler qualified with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and went on to obtain a medical degree in 1986 from the University of London (Westminster Medical School). His higher neurosurgical training was undertaken at hospitals in Bristol, London and Nottingham through which he completed two Fellowships. One Fellowship in Epilepsy Surgery was carried out at King’s College Hospital, London; with another in Paediatric Neurosurgery in Nottingham.

Medical Experience

Mr Chandler became a Consultant Neurosurgeon for both adults and children in 1997 and currently treats patients at King’s College London and the London Neurosurgery Partnership of Harley Street Clinic, London.

Mr Chandler is a Consultant for the largest brain tumour service in the UK, the Adult Brain and Spinal Cord Tumour Service. He also leads the Paediatric and Adolescent Neurosurgical Service at King’s College London.

He has a specialist interest in the surgical treatment of epilepsy, brain and spinal cord tumours including metastatic brain tumours and hydrocephalus as well as the neurosurgical management of back, neck, arm and leg pain.
