Medical Qualifications

Mr Ash Mosahebi qualified from Guy’s and St Thomas’s Medical School, London and went on to graduate with a PhD in plastic surgery and tissue engineering from University College London. He received further training in complex reconstruction as the first British Plastic Surgery Fellow at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York. Further to this, Mr Mosahebi undertook additional aesthetic training in Belgium and has received Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (Plastic Surgery).

Medical Experience and Training

He has a specialist interest in plastic and microsurgical reconstruction surgery alongside congenital, cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery. Mr Mosahebi is the Deputy Editor of the British Journal of Plastic Surgery as well as the Honorary Secretary of the Royal Society of Medicine.

Mr Mosahebi is involved in new, pioneering research into the use of biomaterials and tissue engineering for regenerating new tissues. He is currently an Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College Hospital London and a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the Royal Free Hospital, London.
