Medical Qualifications

Dr Sean Preston qualified from St Mary's Hospital Medical School. In 2005 he was awarded a PhD in gastrointestinal tumour biology after spending four years with Cancer Research UK. Following a year in Sydney on a Senior Endoscopy Fellowship, he completed specialist training in gastroenterology at the Royal London Hospital in 2007.

Medical Experience

Dr Preston is a Joint Advisory Group (JAG) accredited Bowel Cancer Screening Colonoscopist. He is the Clinical Lead for the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme at Barts and the London NHS Trust and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.

He is a member of the British Society of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr Preston is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and General Physician and is available for private appointments at The Princess Grace Hospital, London.

Dr Preston specialises in the treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD), Barrett's oesophagus, gastrointestinal cancer and has a specialist interest in bowel cancer screening as well as more general gastroscopy, colonoscopy, diarrhoea and abdominal pain.
