Medical Qualifications

Dr John Casimir Janssen qualified with a Bachelor of Science, first class honours degree in Physiology and Basic Medical Sciences in 1990. He went on to be awarded a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery Degree from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1993. Dr Janssen became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in 1997 and completed an MD in 2006 at the Institute of Neurology, University of London. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians in 2009.

Medical Experience

Dr Janssen is a member of the Royal Society of Medicine - Clinical Neurosciences, he is also a Member of the Association of British Neurologists, the British Association of Stroke Physicians, the British Medical Association, the Harveian Society, Medical Chirurgical Society of West London and Chelsea Clinical Society.

Dr Janssen is a Consultant Neurologist at the Chelsea and Westminster, Royal Brompton, Imperial College and the Cromwell hospitals. He is available for private patients at the Lister Hospital and the Chelsea Outpatients Centre.

He specialises in the treatment of headaches, migraine, TIA, stroke, memory disorders, Dementia, Parkinson’s disease as well as general neurology.
